Thaksin lawyer accuses Apirak of negligence

bangkokpost.com — Former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra’s attorney Picha Vijitsilp on Monday filed a complaint against Bangkok governor Apirak Kosayodhin, accusing him of dereliction of duty after allowing the People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) to block roads that were expected to be used by the royal family during the royal cremation for Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana. The lawyer travelled to the Counter Corruption Division (CCD) on Monday to file the complaint, alleging Mr Apirak of exempting his duty under Article 157 of the Criminal Code.
